ACCESS STATEMENT
Main Entrance
There is one 15cm step up to the front door and a raise over the threshold of 10cm. The front door is usually open but please ring the door bell on your initial arrival.
GUEST ACCOMMODATION
The entrance door is 76.cm wide and our tiled floors will lead you through to the guest lounge/garden room , the dinning room on the same level is to the left of the entrance door.
One bedroom is situated on the ground floor; the door measures 69cm wide and is adequate for guest with mild mobility problems. The bedroom has an ensuite shower room.
Off the hall is the stairway consisting of 13 steps with a rise of 19cm and a tread of 27cm. The stairs are carpeted and there is a sturdy handrail to assist you up the stairs, help with luggage is available at all times. Our other bedroom on the first floor is not suitable for wheelchair access. The house is centrally heated thoughout and the temperature can be adjusted in each room to suite individuals requirements.
The garden can be used at all time through the lounge/garden room. A step of 15cm will lead into the garden and a seating area, a further 2 steps of 25cm will lead to a lawn area.
