The M40 from London to Oxford A40. Oxford – Cheltenham, picking up the A361 north at Burford this road runs through the rural village of Shipton-under-Wychwood, which lies in the Evenlode valley between the historic towns of Chipping Norton and Burford. In the centre of the village take the Ascot-under-Wychwood turning, 50yds down there on the right you will find Courtlands Road.
